I like Gannon, hes tough and a competitive player at that. He's proven with several teams that he is a winner. The Raiders lack of success was due, in my opinion, to the Owner Al Davis and his decision for Head Coach. This team is Grudens team, he put it together, he knew how to get them to win or at least motivated to go out and play like winners. This team is full of winners, great athletes, and some on the verge of being considered great.
But, I feel that this Coach's personality and style, just doesn't fit with this bunch or the Raider's Organization. He just seems to nice and professional, not saying anyone else who coached the Raiders weren't professional, but they weren't that nice. Meaning, you could just feel and see their aggressiveness. This is what the team responds to. They have to much rough and tough past image to live up to. They need a coach who will be able to help them live up to that image, cause its part of why they win games. Its part of the Raider's history.
